The Collaboration for High Performance Schools (CHPS) promotes the design, construction and operation of schools that are energy and resource efficient, healthy, comfortable and contain the amenities of a quality education. CHPS advocates for increased environmental awareness and recommends that school buildings be used as teaching tools.
WOW helps schools meet CHPS performance goals by providing a permanent educational display that explains how the schools environmental features work and incorporating live data to describe and demonstrate high performance features.

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System® is a framework for identifying, implementing, and measuring green buildings and design, construction, operations, and maintenance.
WOW can help your building to earn LEED credit points in the following categories:
Energy and Atmosphere – Credit 5 (Measurement and Validation)
“Provide oversight of energy, water and other resource consumption on an on-going basis to help ensure that systems continue to function as intended”
“Compare actual performance vs. LEED benchmarks”
Innovation in Design – Credit 1-1.4 and Credit 3
“Use the building as a teaching tool”
“Incorporate live data to describe and demonstrate high performance features”
“Track actual performance across all categories against LEED benchmarks”
WOW shows building occupants and visitors how and why your building incorporates green features and provides the ability to incorporate live and historical data into your explanations.

California’s Assembly Bill 32 (AB32) climate change law establishes statewide programs and regulations designed to combat greenhouse gases and promote the development and use of energy-efficient technologies.
CALGREEN Code – Division 5.2: Energy Monitoring
Requires building operators to record energy use data for each energy system in the building and ensure that hourly data is accessible daily.
WOW supports this requirement by acquiring and storing energy use data from multiple sources and meter types and providing ready accessibility to this data over the internet anytime.
